Uganda Safaris


Uganda is home to the Big Five (lions, leopards, elephants, rhinoceroses, and buffalo), as well as the largest mountain gorillas population in the world. The gorilla tourism is one of the prime tourist activities in Uganda, taking place in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with more than 300 Mountain Gorillas and a few others in Mgahinga National Park.

The tree Climbing Lions that climb trees and rest on them in the afternoon, when the sun is high is another touristic phenomenon in Uganda common in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Other attractions include: Royal tombs and palaces; natural monuments; lakes and rivers (including the Nile); mountains (such as Rwenzori) and volcanoes.
