Uganda is home to the largest mountain gorillas population in the world. The gorilla tourism is one of the prime tourist activities in Uganda, taking place in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with more than 300 Mountain Gorillas and a few others in Mgahinga National Park.
Other tourist attractions in Uganda include: Royal tombs and palaces; natural monuments; lakes and rivers (including the Nile); mountains (such as Rwenzori) and volcanoes.
