Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara Safari

This charming safari takes you to two of Kenya’s most stunning Reserves. The soda-rich waters of shallow Lake Nakuru provides an ideal habitat for the world’s largest flocks of flamingos, whilst the surrounding acacia woodland and rich savannah of Lake Nakuru National Park are superb examples of conservation at work in the wild.

Masai Mara is one of Kenya’s renowned game-viewing areas, giving visitors an excellent chance of seeing the Big Five. This magnificent Reserve with its undulating plains, hills and woodland lies in the south-west corner of Kenya and shares its southern border with Tanzania’s Serengeti. This is lion, leopard, cheetah and elephants territories, with an increasing population of black rhino. The Mara is home to several hundred species of bird life but is most famous for the millions of wildebeest and zebras thundering across the landscape during the annual migrations( named as the 7t wonder of the world.

Day 1 : Nairobi – Lake Nakuru (180 kms.)
Arrival from Europe at “Jomo Kenyatta” International Airport in Nairobi; after customs and immigration procedures, depart towards Lake Nakuru, across the spectacular fracture of the Rift Valley. Arrival at Lake Nakuru Lodge /Flamingo hill Camp or similar at lunchtime. Check-in and lunch at the Lodge/ Camp . After some relax by the scenic swimming pool, game drive around the lake to spot pink flamingoes and other beautiful species of birds inhabitant of the Park, where you will also find rhinos, waterbucks, gazelles, impalas, and with a little luck, even leopards. Return to the Lodge for a sundowner whilst enjoying the wonderful views of the lake. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge or Flamingo hill Camp
Day 2 : Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara (330-350 kms.)
Early morning breakfast and then depart towards Masai Mara National Park crossing the Rift Valley and via Longonot – Narok region arrival at Mara Sopa Lodge or similar in time for lunch. Check-in and lunch at the lodge/camp. Afternoon game drive in Masai Mara National Park till sunset. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge /Olmoran tented Camp or similar
Day 3 : Masai Mara
Whole day spent on game drives in Masai Mara National Park to discover its beautiful wildlife. Full board accommodation at Mara Sopa Lodge /Ol Moran Tented Camp or similar.
Day 4 : Masai Mara – Nairobi
JOMO KENYATTA AIRPORT (330 kms.) to connect your international flight to Europe or to extend your holiday to the Kenyan coast.
